It is both basic (elaboration of hydrological and meteorological data, development and numerical analysis of basic algorithms) and applied with the aim of the numerical simulation of problems regarding the oceanographic dynamics of fluids. The activity mainly regards the numerical solution of complex equations systems at partial derivates in physical oceanography, with the aim to study and realise innovative systems for the numerical forecasting of marine hydrodynamics and the simulation of the ecosystem, but also the acquisition of data in the field.
